Generative AI meets online search with SearchGPT, OpenAI’s new baby that is set to redefine and take ChatGPT capabilities to the next level.
SearchGPT is intended to provide up-to-date information while simultaneously referring users to relevant sources – all through a text interface that leverages the same kind of natural language communication familiar to users of ChatGPT. Business media has touted it be a one-of-a-kind search engine, which will give quick and prompt responses to queries, as demanded by the prompter. However, OpenAI is of the opinion that this search engine will give the option for users to search the content in a much more natural and intuitive way, as opposed to other search engines, that rather follow a rigid protocol.

The aviation and hospitality industries are realizing the benefits of having an in-house CAIO. Till recently, the CAIO role was pretty much the exclusive domain of public sector, technology and R&D organizations. There are a multitude of factors that are making the CAIO indispensable for the aviation and hospitality industry. The potential of AI in the hospitality sector ranges from personalized guest experiences to efficient operational management. For instance, AI can streamline front desk operations, optimize energy management systems, and provide personalized recommendations for hotel guests. In airline operations too, AI is said to transform customer service, optimize flight operations, and improve safety across the board.

AI has been influencing the healthcare industry since a long time, but in a groundbreaking achievement, scientists at the University of Cambridge have successfully leveraged AI algorithms to analyze cognitive tests and MRI brain scans towards early and non-invasive detection of Alzheimer’s. The study was based on inputs from 1,500 patients in the UK, USA and Singapore.
The AI algorithms were able to distinguish people with mild mental agility problems that would remain stable from those who would progress to Alzheimer’s disease over the next 3 years.
